SO the house im renting sold at auction back to the bank the other day, my question is do I still pay my landlord rent when he doesn’t technically own the house anymore.. technically he never owned it in the first place….

I might hold the rent for a month or two – the new owner will let you know where to send the money. If you know who bought the house, call them and find out when they are closing – you are likely obligated to the old landlord until that time. Mostly though, I would not worry.
